Global Shark Attack Map

The international shark attack file, which is the only scientific collection of shark attack statistics that I’m aware of, has released their report on attacks for calendar year 2008.

There aren’t any real surprises in the report. The shark attack numbers are right in line with averages. The number of attacks have steadily risen for some time as the number of humans enjoying the ocean has grown.
